Publishing house and art dealership in Vienna. Founded in 1770 by Carlo Artaria (1747-1808). The company is known for publishing music sheets, most notably of composers Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. Artaria became one of the leading publishing houses in the 19th century.
