As Darquier de Pellepoix's deputy during the entire Schloss case, Antignac participated in every aspect of the preparation for the seizure of the Schloss collection, coordinated CGQJ operations with local prefects and kept communications open with senior Vichy officials until the Schloss collection was dismembered in fall of 1943.
