Alex Gebhardt, residing at Lenbachplatz 1, Munich acquired from Alfred Otto in the early fall of 1947 Schloss 58 and Schloss 117, two paintings from the Schloss collection that had been stolen from the Führerbau. Gebhardt turned in the paintings to the MCCP in October 1947.
