Henry Schloss and his brothers, Lucien and Raymond, ran the Adolphe Schloss Fils et Cie. after their father's death until WWII. He moved to Nice with his brothers. In early April 1943, Henry and his wife, Louise Boulat, were arrested. Louise was released while Henry was transferred to the Centre Brébant detention center in Marseille. He was released in mid-May 1943.
